Half the bathroom problems we get called to fix six months after a reform are plumbing problems that nobody pressure-tested. Wrong slope on a baixant, copper joint sweated badly, manifold without isolating valves — three classic mistakes, all preventable on a real plumbing build.

Multilayer PEX-AL-PEX from a central manifold, one independent loop per fixture, isolating valve at every distributor. Press fittings only — no compression on hidden joints. Result: zero hidden leaks because every joint is at the manifold or at the fixture.

Drainage at the right slope
Minimum 2% slope on every drain, 3% under the kitchen sink, 1% for the venting. We rebuild the connection to the building baixant in cast iron or PVC depending on what the building has, and we sound-insulate it with rockwool plus a flexible coupling.

Five different plumbing markers. Plumber = a one-off callout (a leak, a blocked drain, an emergency). Plumbing fixture installation = installing a toilet or sink onto pipes that already exist. Water supply installation = the incoming network only. Sewer installation = drainage only. Plumbing works = the full plumbing rebuild inside a reform (everything, signed off).
PEX-AL-PEX multilayer for hot and cold inside the apartment. Press fittings only on hidden joints. Copper or iron only where the building riser still requires it (cast-iron baixants in pre-war buildings) or on the gas line. Lead and old copper come out — they're either corroded or carrying lead salts.
Yes. The cold network gets charged to 6 bar for 30 minutes before the wall closes. We photograph the manometer and log the test in the file. Roger Camps (MEP coordinator) signs off. If the pressure drops more than 0.2 bar in 30 minutes, the wall doesn't close until the joint is found.
Only if you want it moved or removed. Spanish gas requires a separate installer with empresa instaladora autorizada in category B and a butlletí del gas — we don't replace that paperwork. We coordinate with one when needed and we hand the cleared line over to them.
Five to seven working days for a single bathroom or kitchen. Eight to twelve days for a full apartment with two bathrooms plus kitchen. Building risers across multiple flats run 3-6 weeks with an individual quote after the building inspection. Inside a turnkey reform the plumbing happens during first-fix and adds no separate calendar time.
