Unlike a wardrobe, a kitchen is the integration of cabinets, worktop, appliances, water + electrical drops, and ventilation. Òscar's workshop builds the cabinets, our project lead coordinates the appliance schedule, and the install is sequenced so worktop arrives the day before turn-on.

About this service
Kitchen-specific scope, not «just another fitted unit».
Three things make a kitchen different from a wardrobe: appliance integration (oven cut-outs, hob ventilation, dishwasher water/waste), worktop coordination (granite/quartz/dekton from a separate fabricator with their own schedule), and turn-on sequencing (appliance install needs water and electrical live the same day). One contractor for all three saves 2-3 weeks vs hiring kitchen + worktop fabricator + installer separately.

Worktop from local fabricator
Dekton (Cosentino, Catalan-made), quartz (Silestone), or granite (local quarries). Template after cabinet install (not before — opening tolerances matter), fabrication 7-10 days, install in 1 day.

Appliance integration
Oven cut-outs to manufacturer spec (not «approximately»), induction hob 7,4 kW circuit pre-installed, hood extract to roof or external wall (not into the apartment). Sequenced so appliance arrives ready for the live water/electrical.

Things owners ask before signing.
Basic 5-7 weeks. Standard 6-8. Designer 8-12. Bottlenecks: appliance lead time (Gaggenau 4-8 weeks), worktop fabrication (7-10 days after cabinets installed), wood species in stock (oak 5 days, walnut 12-14, cherry 21+).
Both work. We order: 10% markup on appliance cost, manufacturer warranty applies, you get a single invoice. You order: bring cardboard model card to brief so we cut cabinets correctly. Manufacturer warranty applies either way.
Dekton: most scratch and stain resistant, premium. Quartz (Silestone): mid-range, low-maintenance, sealed. Granite: natural, classic, needs sealing every 2-3 years. We bring samples to the brief.
Always to outside. Recirculating hoods don't actually remove smell or moisture, they just filter particulates. We route extract to existing facade or roof shaft (sometimes coordinated with comunidad). If neither is feasible, we redesign hood location.
Right. For fitted wardrobes, bookshelves, vanities, walk-ins see custom furniture. Same workshop, different briefing template (no appliance integration, no worktop fabrication, no MEP coordination).
